Our mission statement

Our vision is to make positive use of the wide variety of modern media in order to communicate a message of hope, to teach biblical truths and to encourage broken & disheartened people.

So how does it work? Why do we give DVDs away for free?

Well, first of all, all DVDs have been created by Scott Cawthon in his "spare time" and are distributed by David Hutter. We both have full-time day jobs that help us to finance the postage, DVD replication and also production of further HOPE media projects.

Furthermore, we believe that the hope that is communicated through these films is far too important than its message to be only heard by people who are willing to pay money for a DVD that they have never heard of.

Whilst we're more than aware the quality of animation can in no way be compared to the standard of professional film studios these days, we believe that a good story, especially if based in truth, will not fail to entertain and can touch audiences on a much deeper level than popcorn cinema ever will.

Why do we use the HOPE logo?

The HOPE brand is part of the HOPE 2008 initiative that aims to facilitate "intensified, united, focused prayer and a year of activities, communicating the Gospel through words and actions". It is an initiative for churches around the UK to work together to show the love of Jesus to people in their areas.

HopeAnimation.com is based in Canterbury, Kent and works in partnership with Canterbury Baptist Church as sub project of HOPE 2008 and also offers its resources nationwide.

How can these animations be used?
